京都五山送り火・護摩木体験 ― 世界中から寄せられた願いとともに
2025年8月16日、京都の夏を代表する伝統行事「京都五山送り火」が行われました。
当日は一時的に大雨に見舞われましたが、関係者の尽力により無事に点火。
夜空に浮かぶ炎とともに、お盆に迎えた先祖の霊を送りました。
エムズホテルでは、今年もご宿泊のお客様を対象に「護摩木体験」を実施し、お客様の願い事を書いた護摩木を奉納いたしました。
護摩木には、世界各国から訪れたお客様にご参加いただき、それぞれの母国語で心のこもった願いが記されています。
この伝統行事を通して、世界中のお客様と京都の文化を分かち合えたことを心より嬉しく思います。
